First I would like to say I never have put a claim in. They sent me a notice and said my year was coming up (Nov 12th) and they were raising my monthly plan $10.00 a mo.

I decided to cancel. I was on the phone for 3 hrs. waiting to speak and cancel. After about an 1 1/2 hrs.

I spoke to someone and they said I would have to speak to members services and connected me to someone else. I waited another 1/2 hr. and someone else came on and said she couldn't cancel me either so she connected me to someone else. I asked if I could cancel online and she said no, only over the phone.

I waited another hr. and then hung up. I do have a life! I would hate to see if I had an emergency claim.

Do not hire this company.

If they were so overwhelmed they should hire more people. Very unhappy customer!!!!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

HMS Home Warranty Cons: No people answer the phone, Run-around, Poor communication.

Yep, I had to replace them with AHS. They made up some wording about wear and tear on something they approved.

Its a faucet handle. Its mechanic function of the handle. They approved it and then said its not wear and tear when the metal handle got eroded and snapped off. It was a 20 year old faucet.

Its time was up and so is HMS. My friend is canceling too.

She told me to cancel one month before I encountered a problem. Guess she was right too.

Terrible company, don't do business with HMS. When i need to fix my heat pump, they send a technician, he suggested a replacement part and told me to wait.

after 15 days when i contact the technician i realized that they rejected my claim because this heat pump is not covered. If they let me know this right-away i wold have hired someone to fix this in couple of days. I don't have to wait 15+ days in cold winter days.

Right away i request to cancel my warranty. I will never go back with HMS.

Terrible company. Never ever use them.

Without refrigerator for weeks same with washer. Cannot get people to come when scheduled.

Excuses after excuses. Way to costly for the incompetent service.
