Then my realtor placed a new claim, new contractor, anther $100 and new diagnosis. They still will not cover this. Meanwhile I have no A/C for 2 wks in my brand new home. I have had to call at least 10 times to get any kind of answer from this company and still they will not cover my problem. Which I was told at the beginning of this , "they cover anything that can go wrong". This company is an absolute scam. No matter what the tech writes they will manipulate it into something they will not cover. Do not ever buy a warranty from this company. It is an absolute scam. We are going to begin talking to a lawyer tomorrow. This is the worst company I have ever in my life dealt with, do not get suckered like I did.

| 1. Written by Ted, on 08-10-2008 20:56 I have shared my situation elsewhere on this website. I feel sad for anyone who has to deal with HMS these days. I will not renew. When I look at what I have paid in premiums over 12 years, I have essentially broke even between premiums and claims. In recent years, because of HMS incompetence and unethical practices, this is no longer an insurance company. I agree it is a scam, and hopefully one with a short life. However, as long as you have realtors "pimping" HMS, this scam will continue |
