You are all correct. HMS ***. I was provided with the warranty when my wife and I purchased the house in winter. Inspector would not test A/C unit. We later found out that the unit was not even hooked up and the copper line coming into the basement was cutoff. I paid $100 for their chosen company to come out and look at it for less than 2 minutes. They denied my claim and said it was misuse or abuse. They told me to check some fine print somewhere. You cannot misuse or abuse something you never got to use. I have a feeling they won't cover crap. Stay away from them. Tell everyone you know.
