We purchased our first house on July 18th. The realtor, Lee Cronin from Weichert, bought a 6 month warranty from HMS to ease our fears about the 20 year old AC/heating unit. Once we moved in, we discovered our AC did not work. HMS said it had a pre-existing condition and they would not pay to fix it, much less buy us a new unit. The seller, realtor and HMS are all creeps, but we were naive new home buyers-our realtor didn't know about the commonly known rip off companies like HMS. Hot all summer, freezing now.
